Show Cob

Highland Pony Gelding
Show Cob Mold
Kestrel was my first Show Cob and one of the first ones made of this mold.
I purchased him second-hand, but he was originally a spare from 2008. He and the Lipizzaner, Alvar, were possibly from the same spares batch as their base colour is identical.
I rehaired Kestrel from dark brown nylon to a similar colour mohair. I'm not happy with his mane, so he's probably going to find himself scalped again soon.

Fjord Stallion
Show Cob Mold
Deco was a special order black dun Fjord for the Fjord Horde.
I chose a rather cool toned version of this colour, but am thinking about ordering another black dun Fjord in warmer tones, too. He was made in 2018. He was made in 2018.

Beignet was a special order palomino dun for the Fjord Horde. He was made in 2018.

Plover was painted by and owned by Nat, a Julip painter, before being sold to Mary Harding, who named him Monrieth Motivator.
He originally had long white nylon hair, which I thought made him look a bit washed out, so I gave him a light grey mane and tail when I rehaired him with mohair, with a touch of purple-ish pink to give him a little colour.
This was my first attempt at the "braid and knot" technique for the mane.
Plover was made some time between 2009-2013.
