What with one thing and another - my main collection focus being Breyers, my disappointment with the quality/cost of my HOTY model - I didn't get another Julip until 2012, this time a proper Julip Original. I purchased Candlelight from the Julip booth at the first Utterly Horses Hullabaloo in 2012. Julip had brought with them a quantity of unpainted and half-painted models which they painted to order during the show. I had sold a few models at the show and decided to splurge on what at the time seemed like a rather expensive donkey. Candle was already chestnut, I just asked them make him flaxen to look like my favourite Breyer mule, Brown Sunshine.
