Farfrae Heart's a Rover

Hackney Horse Stallion

American Quarter Horse Mold

Rover was an Xmas gift from my husband which he purchased from Laura Libby of Julip.

He was bought as a repair project and is currently undergoing major surgery in the Farfrae Veterinary Center. Rover was made in 1973.

Farfrae Love's a Rambler

Hackney Horse Stallion

American Quarter Horse Mold

Rambler was purchased as a lot on eBay with a poorly vintage Arabian Stallion.

They are both currently undergoing major surgery in the Farfrae Veterinary Center. Rambler was made in 1972.

Farfrae Black Friday

Hackney Horse Gelding

American Quarter Horse Mold

Black Friday came to me with a broken and protruding leg wire, worn paint on all four legs, both ears, and muzzle, and some seriously ratty nylon hair.

I patched his leg hole, touched up his paint and gave him a braided mane and a pinwheel braided tail.

Friday was made some time in the 90s.

Farfrae Paris is Burning

Paris was a special order in 2007; his colour is based on the 2005 Catalogue Arab Champion, Malteaser.

He had dark brown nylon hair which I replaced with bright chestnut mohair.

Paris arrived around the time of the Notre Dame fire.

Farfrae Bastille

Hackney Horse Gelding

American Quarter Horse Mold

Bastille was offered to me as a repair project, along with a sickly Highland Pony.

He doesn't have a mouth letter, but his eyes look very much like those common in the 70s.

Possibly he's a 1969 or 1970 model, or he might be a later model whose painter just forgot the mouth letter.

Farfrae Almost Royalish

American Saddlebred Mare

American Quarter Horse Mold

Alma was likely made some time between 2009-2012 - probably nearer the end of that period based on her condition.

I rehaired her from nylon to mohair.

She is the dam of Black Mountain Koshari Katsina, our black tobiano Gaited Mule.

Farfrae Icarus

American Quarter Horse Mold

Purchased in a silent auction in the Just Julips Facebook group. He's from 1972, and was part of the previous owner's childhood collection. He came with rug, halter, and haynet. He was her "western horse and had a cowboy friend and western saddle, and his name was originally Ace of Clubs.

He is currently undergoing extensive repairs as he was a very poorly pony.
