Julip Originals Dolls
Julip Originals produces a line of latex dolls along with their horses and other accessories. They have wire armatures and either latex or cloth bodies. The male dolls usually have painted hair and the females have mohair hair.
The clothing is traditionally made of felt and in "riding stable" styles such as hunter, show, casual riding gear, and "professional" clothing such as blacksmith or groom. In recent days they have started to branch out into other fabrics and styles.
The majority of my Julip Original riders are heavily restored. I used old Originals clothes to make patterns for the new clothing and tried to finish the riders in a similar style to the original. Usually vintage Julip riders have their helmets glued on, but when I restored mine I left the helmets loose so the riders could be more casual.
