Trillium Gracile Farm is part of the extensive Lunanhill estate, home of the Earl of Lunanhill. The estate touches the northern side of Kirriemuir and extends into the hills.
This is the model farm where generations of the family have indulged in their agricultural hobbies. The farm boasts a cattery, kennels, gardens, fields, and of course, a large and well-appointed stable complex.
The late Lord Lunanhill took a fancy to the farm house and had it enlarged and modernized; the result is a graceful building much in harmony with the surrounding structures. The current Lord Lunanhill continues to make Trillium Gracile House his primary dwelling.
As they are neighbours, a friendly relationship has always existed between Farfrae Farm and the Lunanhill family and there is much discourse between the residents of both farms.
